Kennesaw Mountain High's Grad Rate: 79.92 Percent

The Cobb County School District fared better than the state.

About 76 percent of Cobb County high school students graduate within four years, according to new figures the Georiga Department of Education released on Tuesday.

That's more than 6 percentage points higher than the state's 2012 graduation rate of 69.72 percent.

Pope High School in East Cobb led the district with a graduation rate of 93.79 percent. Walton High School's rate of 93.75 percent wasn't far behind.
