Kennesaw State Athletics Signs With Adidas

Adidas will be the official apparel provider for the Owls.

The Department of Athletics has taken another step forward in standardizing its brand by partnering with Adidas to be the official apparel provider of the Owls.

The multi-year contract calls for Kennesaw State’s 17 intercollegiate athletic teams to be outfitted in Adidas apparel and footwear. This transition is underway, and KSU teams will debut their new look this fall.

“This is just another great day in the history of Kennesaw State University and the Department of Athletics,” KSU Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams said. “The deal with Adidas is another positive step in moving the Department of Athletics forward and creating a consistent look for all Kennesaw State University athletic teams.

Williams said it was important for the university to have all its sports supported by one company.

"It will also be a benefit for us in recruiting and in merchandise sales," he said. "I'm especially happy for our student-athletes, coaches, alumni and fans."

KSU Equipment Manager Bryan Hill said he is thrilled with the agreement.

“The exclusive relationship with Adidas provides our student athletes with the highest quality apparel and equipment to compete at the highest level," Hill said. “I believe creating a partnership between Kennesaw State Athletics and Adidas is an indicator of the respect that KSU continues to gain in the world of intercollegiate athletics. From my perspective, having an exclusive apparel vendor like Adidas allows us to use their brand to solidify our identity.”
