Harrison Girls Shine At Berry Meet

The Harrison High School girls won their second team title in a row.

After winning the season-opening Walton Stage Races last week, the Harrison girls cross-country team clinched the girls 4A-5A win Saturday at Berry College in Rome. Allatoona High School swept the girls and boys team titles in the Class 1A-3A race.

The Hoyas scored 96 points in the Berry Clara Bowl Invitational to post a win over Brookwood and Mountain Brook, Ala. Lassiter was the only other local team in the top 10 with a ninth-place finish.

Kaylee Isaacs finished eighth with a time of 19:12 for the Lady Hoyas, while Alex Maeder (19:40) was 14th and Maria Boff (19:47) was 19th.
