Kennesaw Schools Compete in Georgia Olympics

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Kennesaw Patch on May 5.

For one long weekend every year, every classification the GHSA as comes together for the boys track and field state championships, known as the Georgia Olympics. This is the 40th year the event has taken place and it begins at noon today at Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Ga.

From today through Saturday, starting each day at noon, the best athletes in the state will compete for Georgia’s top honors among the track and field elite.

The Georgia Olympics is the only high school sports on the schedule for Thursday:
