Live: KSU Beats Ga. Tech, 7-6

The Owls are playing host to the Yellow Jackets on Prostate Cancer Awareness Night.

baseball team is wearing baby-blue uniforms for today's home game at Stillwell Stadium against metro rival Georgia Tech, ranked 11th in the nation. The Owls are trying to repeat the upset success of the men's basketball team in November, except that in this case the Yellow Jacket team they're playing is actually good. The Owls' jerseys are being auctioned by a text-based bidding system through the seventh inning to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Owls' goal is to raise awareness of prostate cancer, as well as to beat Tech. Knox Bardeen is covering the game live on Twitter (@KennesawPatch), and we're collecting the tweets here.
