Viewfinder: KSU Men's Lacrosse at the SELC Tournament

Kennesaw State's quest for an SELC Championship ends in the semi-finals.

men's lacrosse team competed in the 24th Annual SELC Conference Tournament, played at Northview High School on April 29-May 1. The Owls' quest was the Division II Championship and an automatic berth in the MCLA National Championship Tournament in Denver May 17-21.

A quarter-final game on Friday, April 29, was the first test of the Owls as they took on the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish. Kennesaw State won this game 15-8 to advance to Saturday's semi-finals.

The eventual Division II champs, the SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) Bees were Kennesaw State's opponent in the semi-finals. The Bees played some very tough defense and stifled the Owls' offense in a 13-2 win, ending Kennesaw State's season.
