Kennesaw Pre-Independence Day Concert, Fireworks Postponed
The City of Kennesaw's Salute to America, an annual pre-Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, July 3, will be postponed due to weather.
The City of Kennesaw's pre-Independence Day July 3 concert and fireworks is being postponed due to an unfavorable outlook for stormy weather.
"Public safety is our highest priority, and when a high probability of lightning is forecast, we made the decision to cancel the event on July 3," said Mayor Mark Mathews.
