Downtown Fireworks Show and Concert

Kennesaw will hold its annual pre-Independence Day event in Depot Park at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Kennesaw’s traditional pre-Independence Day Salute to America celebration will be held this Tuesday from 6 to 11 p.m. in Depot Park and on Main Street.

The free event will feature live musical performances on two stages, plus one of the biggest and brightest star-spangled firework displays in North Georgia.

Performers scheduled on the main stage are teen singing sensation Kaylin McClure at 6 p.m., a Neil Diamond tribute show featuring the vocal talents of Conner Lorre at 6:30 p.m. and the headlining act The Stranger, the world's most authentic tribute to the legendary Billy Joel, at 8 p.m. Family stage performers include the band Revolution, and singer-songwriters Hannah DeLane and Savannah Jade.

The main stage will be located in front of the Depot, 2828 Cherokee St., across the street from the. The family stage will be located in a parking lot off Main Street near the pedestrian underpass.

The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m., and will be visible from several locations throughout downtown Kennesaw.

A wide selection of entrées, cold beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Attendees can bring food and beverages in picnic baskets or coolers. Barbecue grills will not be allowed. Possession or consumption of any alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
