OSHA Develops Heat Safety App
The app will determine if conditions make it unsafe to work outside.
Want to know if it's too hot to work outside? A new app created by OSHA will tell you just that.
The app uses temperature and humidity levels to determine if conditions are safe enough to work outside. And, if those are unknown, the GPS function can be used to determine the levels.
The app also can remind you when to rehydrate and take a break. The app is available for iPhone and Android smartphones.
