In honor of Adopt-a-Shelter Cat Month, Cobb Animal Control staff has also reduced its cat and kitten adoption rate to $80 through June 30.

"Our normal adoption rate is $110, but we wanted to do something special in honor of June as Adopt-a-Shelter Cat Month," stated Tom Flynn, field services manager and acting facility operations manager, in a release. "We hope this reduced rate will encourage people to come down and find a new feline addition to their families. We take in cats and kittens every day and we really want to find new home for them all."

All cats and kittens have received vaccinations, including rabies if older than 4 months, been de-wormed and have been spayed or neutered. All felines will be combo tested.
