Cobb Diaper Day, Final Farmers Market of the Season, Fall Festival of Fun
Get out to the final Kennesaw Farmers Market of the season, a Kennesaw City Council work session, the 5th annual Cobb Diaper Day on Marietta Square and the 14th annual Fall Festival of Fun.
Cobb Diaper Day
The 5th Annual Cobb Diaper Day will take place at Glover Park on the Marietta Square at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28.The collection drive will benefit a number of Cobb-based organizations that assist needy families, including MUST Ministries, The Center for Family Resources, Reconnecting Families, Christian Aid Mission Partnership and the YWCA of Northwest Georgia.
Kennesaw Farmers Market
The final Kennesaw Farmers Market of the season takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Adams Park Soccer Field Parking Lot: 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw.Kennesaw City Council Work Session
The Kennesaw City Council will meet in the Council Chambers at the rear of City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.Annual Fall Festival of Fun at the Cobb Safety Village
The 14th Annual Fall Festival of Fun will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Cobb Safety Village, 1220 Al Bishop Drive, Marietta 30008. The event will provide the children of Cobb County a safe alternative to the traditional Trick-or-Treat in their neighborhood.The festival will include arts and crafts, games, inflatable rides, police and fire prevention activities, costume and coloring contest and more.
Ghosts of Marietta
The Haunted Walking Tour takes you through the streets of Marietta by lantern light. This tour is approximately 90 minutes and the walk is under a mile. Monday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m., 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m., 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m., 9 p.m., 11 p.m.The ScaryEtta Haunted Trolley is a 90minute trolley ride around Marietta. This tour visits the Square as well as several major cemeteries and historic houses. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., 8 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m., 8 p.m., 10 p.m.
The Spirits and Spirits tour meets at a local restaurant and includes a glass of wine while you listen to some of the area's ghost stories before departing into Marietta Square for a one hour walking ghost tour. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
