Kennesaw State University’s Sports & Recreation Park will host “Owl-O-Ween,” a visually spectacular, family friendly Halloween event for all ages, featuring Atlanta’s first Hot Air Balloon Festival and biggest costume party, Oct. 26.
The event will feature stilt walkers, sword swallowers, fire breathers, sideshow performers, art vendors, a whimsical forest children’s area, Radio Disney’s TRYathlon, local foods and harvest beers.
Along with all of the exciting roaming performers, there will also be live music from 8:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., featuring the Kurt Thomas Band and America’s favorite party band, The Village People.
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume, especially those planning to participate in the hot air balloon trick-or-treating, which will allow patrons to go from balloon to balloon gathering candy along the way.
Cobb Travel and Tourism will also be hosting a “Costume Showdown” that will be run through multiple social media outlets, allowing participants to campaign and gain votes through Facebook and Twitter to win prize packs ranging from cash to hotel packages.
