Located in Kennesaw, Swift-Cantrell Park is one of the community's most popular recreation, relaxation and central gathering places. Swift-Cantrell Park is 42 acres, the city's largest community park, and features two playgrounds, a skate spot, dog park, three picnic pavilions, restrooms, drinking fountains, trails and more. Additionally, Swift-Cantrell Park is home to three 1,320 square foot open-air pavilions, with picnic tables that can accommodate 60 people each.

OK, they really built this park for me. I hoped for years that these pastures would not be turned into a subdivision or ball fields. Instead, the open, rolling grass is for everyone (ok, I'll share) to run, fly a kite, roll in the grass and walk, run, skate or bike. Just take good care of it please!
Seriously, I walk here almost every day sometimes up to 3 times a day because I'm so close to it. Thanks Kennesaw for listening to me and others who asked for a park!
