A 151,665-square-foot piece of property on Barrett Park Drive has been sold, officials announced this week. The property, which consists of two office/industrial buildings at 2120 and 2124 Barrett Park Drive, is 100 percent leased to two tenants, including Alorica Inc., which has brought new jobs to Kennesaw since announcing plans last July to increase its workforce by 1,000.  Knapp Logistics Automation Inc. is the other tenant. Meritex, an active owner/operator of industrial real estate in metro Atlanta since 1992, first acquired the Barrett Park Drive property in December of 2010 as part of a 10-building, 750,000-square-foot portfolio.
