Kennesaw Mountain Student Wins American Legion Contest
She will represent Post 304 at the district-level this Saturday.
Kennesaw Mountain High senior Audrey Milam is one step closer to winning more than $20,000 in cash and scholarships after she was named the top local orator at Saturday's 76th Annual American Legion High School Oratorical Contest. Milam, who chose third party representation as her topic, won $300 as well as the chance to represent North Cobb Post 304 at the district-level competition scheduled for 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at Marietta Post 29, 921 Gresham Ave., Marietta.
