Kennesaw will hold a blood drive from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Ben Robertson Community Center. To register, visit www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation, enter sponsor code KP&R and call 1-800-RED-CROSS to schedule an appointment. Every 56 days, people who are at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate. Donors who are 16 years old and have parental consent are also eligible to donate blood.

The City of Kennesaw is sponsoring a Summer Heroes Community Blood Drive this Tuesday, June 12, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ben Robertson Community Center. Most healthy people of at least 17 years of age and at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate blood every 56 days. The donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about 45 minutes. The donation itself only takes about 8-10 minutes.
