Kennesaw's Jenkins Appointed to National Council on Youth
The councilmember was selected based upon his demonstrated commitment to issues involving young people and families.
Kennesaw Councilmember Bruce Jenkins has accepted an appointment as a member of the National League of Cities (NLC) Council on Youth, Education and Families for 2013. The Council includes local elected officials as well as national policy experts and youth leaders from large and small cities and state municipal leagues. The Council’s role is to oversee and support the work of the NLC’s Institute for Youth, Education and Families (YEF). Jenkins was selected based upon his demonstrated commitment to issues involving young people and families.
