The next 'How to do Business with Cobb' seminar will be held in Powder Springs. Scheduled for 5 p.m. May 21 at the West Cobb Senior Center, 4915 Dallas Hwy., business owners will have the opportunity to learn about vendor opportunities, meet county department representatives and network with other local business owners. If you can't make the May session, there are three more seminars in 2013. All of the seminars will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Space is limited. Today is National Pancake Day, which means you can get free pancakes at IHOP. There's no catch, but you are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. Today, Feb. 28, guests from around the country are invited to celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes.* In return for the free pancakes, guests are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities.
