The Cobb Young Professionals will be in Kennesaw today to present a donation to a Marietta nonprofit that provides educational, employment and housing assistance to low-income families. "It’s easy to recognize the value that an organization like The Center for Family Resources provides for our community," Georgia Power's Adam Emrich said in a news release. "I know our donation will further enhance CFR’s programs that truly empower Cobb’s families in need." The donation will take place during the group's holiday social at 5:30 p.m. tonight at Kennesaw's Arena Tavern, 2475 George Busbee Pkwy.
Any professional in their 20s and 30s can be nominated, but only Cobb Chamber members can win.
Cobb Young Professionals, the Cobb Chamber’s networking group for young professionals in their 20s and 30s, is seeking nominations for the 2012 Next Generation Award. Cobb Young Professionals is dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of young professionals in the workplace.
