Kennesaw Patch held its first forum of candidates for the Nov. 8 municipal elections Monday night at the Ben Robertson Community Center. Mayor Mark Mathews, City Council members Tim Killingsworth and Cris Eaton-Welsh, and council challenger Jimmy Dickens attended the forum, moderated by state Rep. Ed Setzler. Two other challengers, mayoral candidate Leonard Church and council candidate Kim Gollahon, were not there.

Gaetana, I want to thank you, David Chastain and of course Patch for your vision in putting together such a wonderful forum last night. I think it was very informative and it was great to see such a good turnout on the first attempt. I think the forums/debates will get better and bigger everytime Patch puts one on...Great Job!!! more ›
