The Caribbean-inspired restaurant Pollo Tropical will celebrate its newest location on Friday, May 17, in Kennesaw with a grand opening event. The 12-hour beach party will celebrate the Pollo Tropical flavor and beach lifestyle, and raise $1,000 for a local charity. The new Pollo Tropical is located at 840 Ernest Barrett Parkway in the Cobb Place Shopping Plaza. Grand Opening Beach Party festivities begin at 9 a.m. on May 17 and run through 9 p.m. As part of its grand opening festivities, Pollo Tropical will bring surfing and a virtual beach to Kennesaw. The opening night for the 2013 Dinner at the Depot season will have carnival games, live music and a variety of food trucks.
Due to the rainy weather and cold temperatures Dinner at the Depot has been cancelled for this evening. The opening season event will be Monday, May 13. Join Dinner at the Depot, Kennesaw's weekly food truck event, for Carnival Night. The Monday, May 6th event will have carnival games for families to enjoy as well as live music and a variety of food trucks. Monday is opening night for the 2013 Dinner at the Depot season. Due to possible showers this evening, the event might be postponed. Check back for updates.
