Dream Dash 5K this Weekend
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Kennesaw Teen Center.
The Kennesaw Dream Foundation announced it will host the inaugural Dream Dash 5k this Father's Day weekend to benefit the Kennesaw Teen Center. Founded in February 2011 by Councilman Bill Thrash, the not-for-profit center has served more than 75 students in its first year. Thrash was honored as Kennesaw Patch's Greatest Person of the Month earlier this year for his commitment to the community initiative, which provides a safe after-school environment where teens can study, receive mentorship and pursue their goals.
