The driver who died after a crash Monday on Interstate 75 was identified today as Delaney Floyd, 34, of Kennesaw. According to the Marietta Police Department, a collision involving Floyd's Jeep Wrangler and a Dodge pickup truck occurred just after noon Monday in the northbound lanes near South Marietta Parkway. One of the vehicles changed lanes and the Jeep Wrangler overturned. Floyd was ejected from the Jeep Wrangler, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It's not clear which vehicle made the change, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. Floyd was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he later died, the AJC said. The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man killed Monday in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 North at the Barrett Parkway exit as Kevin M. Stefanik, 39, of Woodstock. Sgt. Dana Pierce with the Cobb County Police Department said Monday that Stefanik likely had a medical issue that caused him to drive off the I-75 and into a ravine. The vehicle caught on fire. The crash remains under investigation.

The Doraville driver who police say fatally struck Coach Jay Ingram has been charged in his death. William Benton, 50, is charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to maintain a lane, Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce announced. Second-degree vehicular homicide is a misdemeanor in Georgia, punishable by a maximum of one year in jail and a fine of up to $1 million, according to the Law Office of J. Lee Webb. Benton was given copies of the citations against him and released, Pierce said. Benton drove the red 2012 Chevrolet Traverse that hit Ingram while he was jogging on North Booth Road near Junction Drive just after 5 a.m. Jan. 26, police have said. The driver who died at the scene this morning in Kennesaw has been identified as 21-year-old Anthony Kuria Muthondu.
Cobb County police say 21-year-old Anthony Kuria Muthondu of Acworth died at the scene of a wreck on Town Center Drive this morning in Kennesaw. Muthondu was driving westbound on Town Center Drive on the north side of Town Center Mall in his red 1997 Plymouth Voyager when he lost control of the van, according to investigators. Authorities say the vehicle left the north side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, continued on its path, and eventually came to a stop after crashing into a tree. It is unclear what had caused Muthondu to lose control of his vehicle. Please call 770-499-3987 if you have information that may assist investigators with this case.
