Here are the latest updates on road work being done around Kennesaw and Cobb County, according to the Cobb Department of Transportation. Georgia DOT continues work on the intersection and ramps at I-575 and Barrett Parkway. This project is scheduled to complete in June 2013. Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. between Ballard Drive to Dallas Highway (SR 120). One lane will remain open at all times during asphalt paving operations at the following locations: The Noonday Creek Trail Phase 2C project will add 2.5 miles of multi-use trail from Barrett Lakes Boulevard to Bells Ferry Road behind Town Center Mall.
