Man Admits to Killing Kennesaw State Student
Matthew Cherry was a store clerk at the Marietta GameStop in 2007 when Patrick Graham pulled a gun on him.
The man who beat and wrapped duct tape around the head of a Kennesaw State University student during a 2007 video game store robbery pleaded guilty to murder. Tuesday's guilty plea in a Cobb County courtroom will keep Patrick Graham off of death row, but send him to prison for the rest of his life, according to WSB-TV. Matthew Cherry was a store clerk at the Marietta GameStop when Graham walked in with a gun and ordered Cherry, a co-worker and the co-worker's father forced into a back room, according to WSB-TV.
