Cops Sell Doughnuts for a Cause

The Kennesaw Police Department will raise funds this Friday through Sunday to benefit the Special Olympics.

Cops and doughnuts. Need I say more? The Kennesaw Police Department will join police forces throughout Georgia and sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts this Friday, June 8, through Sunday, June 10, in a fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics. Kennesaw's finest will set up shop in an RV at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Old Hwy. 41 in front of Electric Cowboy and have 750 dozen doughnuts on hand over the three-day event. Other police departments will be fundraising from the roofs of Krispy Kreme stores throughout Georgia in the annual Cops on Doughnut Shops event. According to a release, this is the 12th year Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has teamed up with the Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics athletes. …
