The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help CarMax Auto Finance and Employment Seeker fill a number of jobs in Cobb County next week. The GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta, will host a positive recruitment for Car Max on Monday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The company is recruiting about 10 employees to fill collection and customer service jobs at a call center in Kennesaw. Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview. They are also encouraged to have at least six months of call center experience, be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and have completed online pre-screening at www.carmaxautofinance.com/jobs prior to the event. Various employers in the area will participate in the Expo.
The 10th annual Marietta/Cobb Career Expo will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta. Participating employers and service organizations will include Aflac, Amerigroup Community Care, Cobb Department of Public Safety, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, McDonald's, Mutual of Omaha, Primerica and the Brownstone Project. Participating colleges include Kennesaw State University, DeVry University and Shorter University.
