Home Depot to Add Jobs in Kennesaw

The aggressive hiring effort comes as The Home Depot prepares for its busiest selling season.

The Home Depot announced Wednesday that it plans to hire 80,000 seasonal workers nationwide this year, and as many as 100 of those positions will be based at the retailer's two Kennesaw locations. "We ... are on average hiring 40 to 50 seasonal associates per store," company spokeswoman Katherine Ellison said. The aggressive hiring effort comes as The Home Depot prepares for its busiest selling season.
