Phillip “Pip” Arnold, the Kennesaw Mountain High graduate who competed on Season 2 of NBC's The Voice, will come home next month. The Cobb Schools Foundation announced on its Facebook page that Arnold will be at its Leaders and Legends Ball, scheduled for Feb. 9 at the Hilton Marietta Hotel & Conference Center. Arnold finished in the top 12 of the nationally televised singing competition. The black-tie event will honor alumni and community leaders who have made an impact on the Cobb County School District. This year's honorees will include: Tickets cost $200 per person or $2,000 for a table of 10. Proceeds benefit the foundation. The Voice contestant and Kennesaw Mountain High School graduate Phillip “Pip” Arnold will give a limited seating live acoustic performance at Smith-Gilbert Gardens this Sunday, June 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event, An Evening with Pip, will be an intimate concert under the trees. Tickets cost $50 per person, and seating is limited to 200. Wine, beer, sodas and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. As a contestant in the nationally televised singing competition, Pip placed in the Top 12. However, he did not finish high enough to guarantee a recording contract. The Smith-Gilbert Gardens performance will help raise funds for Pip's Kickstarter Campaign to help fund his debut album. The gardens are located at 2382 Pine Mountain Rd. in Kennesaw. …

Marietta native and Kennesaw Mountain High School graduate Pip Arnold moves on to the live rounds of The Voice competition after defeating fellow Team Adam member Nathan Parrett on Monday night's episode. The pair, who performed "You Know I'm No Good" by Amy Winehouse in the elimination battle round, also happen to be good friends and housemates, Pip told Patch in a previous interview. Pip was the favorite going into the duet battle after his blind audition of "House of the Rising Sun" wowed all four judges. According to previews, Kennesaw Mountain High School graduate Pip Arnold will battle against fellow Team Adam member and roommate Nathan Parrett on tonight's episode of The Voice. Pip, 19, wowed all four judges during his Blind Audition rendition of "House of the Rising Sun" and has garnered a strong local following here in Kennesaw. Now, the second phase of the competition pits Pip against Parrett in a duet battle, meaning only one will make it to the live portion of the show. Pip Arnold is now a member of The Voice's Team Adam. The Kennesaw Mountain High grad wowed all four judges on tonight's episode of the NBC reality show with his version "House of the Rising Sun." “I never thought all four of y’all would turn around in like a million years,” Pip said. The fact that Pip, 19, sported a bowtie and suspenders just seemed to excite Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green even more.
