i know "skaters", and the skaters i know are less than outstanding citizens. Once this 1.2 million dollar park gets built they might decide to utilize this park once every couple of weeks once the excitement wears off. They all live to find new concrete structures to hurl themselves down and cause vandalism in the surrounding areas. I'm not saying all are the same, but typically they prove me right. This endeavor by the great city of Kennesaw will certainly not keep skaters off of the streets, but will end up being a sort of daycare center for soccer moms who need something to occupy their children as they jog/walk the dog/picnic or whatever else they do at Swift Cantrell. Not to mention the countless legal issues that Dyrdek and business partner Joe Ciaglia are currently facing (google it). Basically, this park will serve almost no purpose and end up costing the city of Kennesaw double, possibly triple the projected cost. I'm sorry for those who live in the remote vicinity of this degenerate attractor. I live five miles away and that is still too close. I can't believe this park has been approved for construction.
Sincerely,
