ReplyI understand and apologize for my callous tone, we do get quite a few emails for details, to include photos. As they should be, Bragg is wary of the media and we get no details. I urge to you "bug" the chain of command for some answers. I've known other parents to get more information by contacting the Company Commander. I am so very sorry for your loss, I cannot fathom the pain your family is going though. Prayers to your family during this time and in the future - birthdays, holidays, they will never be the same again. Let me know if you feel like I can help since I am here. I will be glad to do whatever you need.

ReplyThe family has the right to privacy. Do you think a mother deserves to have an image seared in her mind of how her son was found. The media is great at those gruesome details (think of the Boston Marathon photos, all of them did not have to be posted for the public). There is no conspiracy, people. As a military spouse with six deployments under my belt, 'War is hell'. Many of our soldiers suffer from invisible wounds - you've surely heard about PTSD? It's real. Do some research. Our soldiers have many pressures that they are under - not all can handle the weight of the world on their shoulders. I read reports of high level CEOs and even pastors who end their lives. Nothing to hide. They thought they couldn't go on, or maybe face consequences for something. It's terrible to lose someone and for the public to feel like they have a right to know details is wrong. Let's have some compassion and honor these soldiers for the time they served in our military. And get educated about PTSD and its effects.

Moe's has the new Coke machine too - it's nice that the Hope Mills side of town is expanding with more choices.

Thanks, Larry. Just like in the civilian world, co-workers, peers and even supervisors are not cut from the same cloth in regards to moral decisions made. Our Army is a volunteer Army and it takes all types willing to serve, be deployed to war zones and be separated from their families for months each year throughout their career. I have not doubt that justice will be served.

Rolling on the floor, laughing out loud. Surely somebody at the CPAC is crunching those NAF numbers.

So true. Look at Fayetteville's Dogwood Festival last year, people griped for having to pay $10 to see Gretchen Wilson, yet they gripe about the 'one hit wonder' bands that are free.

ReplyThis is good news, for now. At least the kids and staff have continuity through the end of the school year.

Ladies, sounds like you need some virus software. Definitely a scam, be careful.
