Support Kennesaw Team Through GoFundMe

Earlier this week, Georgia Patches ran stories with links to fund-raising campaigns in the metro area on GoFundMe, a website which is a Patch partner.

Now is a good time to provide an update on a campaign in this neighborhood -- the effort to raise funds for the Kennesaw Generals 6U Red Team.

"They are a part of the Kennesaw Baseball Association playing at Adams Park in downtown Kennesaw," Malia Lum Sams wrote. "It is up to each team to raise their own funding for the summer program and your donations go towards uniforms, equipment and tournament fees."

As of Thursday afternoon, $490 had been raised of a $5000 goal on a GoFundMe page.
